Welcome to our MENTORS page. Here we will show you who helped guide us in our project and who we are grateful for having them make time for our questions and problems.

Dr. Ziyad Shafik

Dr. Ziyad Shafik is a Technical Laboratory Coordinator at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He joined in 2011 as a Teaching Assistant. His research Interests is Renewable Energy Generation and Conversion, Power Electronics, Machines and Drives.

Dr. Dallia Ali

Dr. Dallia Ali joined the Electrical Engineering Program at Texas A&M at Qatar as a lecturer in 2012. She is assisting our senior design project about inductive power transfer. 

Dr. Haitham Abu-Rub

​​

Dr. Haitham Abu-rub joined the Electrical Engineering Program at Texas A&M at Qatar as a visiting associate professor in 2006. He is currently a senior associate professor in Texas A&M at Qatar.

 He received a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Gdansk University of Technology in Poland in 1995.

His research areas include Electrical Drives and Power Electronics.
